About The Band

The band Scarleth was formed in summer 2005 in Donetsk. The debut performance took place on 24 December 2005. The band’s music doesn’t have clearly marked style and goes beyond its scope. There are different varieties of metal style in the compositions ranging from power/heavy to doom and gothic metal styles.

At the moment the band has played more than 140 shows. Apart from Donetsk the musical group gave concerts for many times in plenty of other cities of Ukraine such as Kiev, Chernigov, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhe, Kharkov, Lugansk, Krivoy Rog, Mariupol, Artemovsk, Kramatorsk etc.

The band performed together with such bands as Gothika (Japan), Sergey Mavrin (Russia), Cherniy Obelisk (Russia), No Existence (Russia), Shadow Host (Russia), Everlost (Russia), Poligon (Russia), Fragile Art (Russia/Ukraine), Hell:on (Ukraine), Inferno (Ukraine), Krilya (Ukraine), Datura (Ukraine), Teni (Ukraine), Crazy Juliet (Ukraine), Start Up (Ukraine), Sunrise (Ukraine), Mizantropia (Ukraine), Jim Jams (Ukraine), Dionis (Ukraine) and many others.

Scarleth took part in such festivals as Chorna Rada (Kiev 2007), Marsh Metalla (Donetsk 2009), Zhelezniy Shtorm (Kharkov 2008), World of Jam (Lugansk 2008), Art Shturm (Khramatorsk 2007), Zhelezniy Zanaves (Donetsk 2007) and others.

For the time being the band has a full length album under it’s belt with 9 songs released by the English record label Casket Music/Copro Productions, which distributes it all over the world. The concert repertoire which lasts 3 hours besides the album songs also contains several compositions not released officially yet and cover versions of the songs of the famous bands. During last several month the band is working on the next album.
